STRIKING, 19TH CENTURY, SPANISH IRON, PENTAGONAL LANTERN, ELECTRIFIED - 96cm., 38" high

Spanish metalwork is renowned for its quality & this striking lantern exudes gravitas Iron ring above four shaped leaves and a bowl at the top. Each side surmounted with pendent tulips and open fretwork of two, four leaf flowerheads. Shaped triangles and leaf decoration below, terminating in another ring. Bars for glazing. It is in excellent condition, currently hanging and working. The fretwork reflect soft patterns of light. The ornamentation is characteristic of the Baroque period 20th century conversion to electricity. PRICING £3,000
