A fine, high quality leather suitcase, the top leather embossed 'JGV', with reinforced corners, leather handle and brass hardware, the lock stamped 'EHOFMANN 11457' No key. The inside with brass label 'To Dr John G Vance from the grateful catholics of Bohemia 1920'. Original richly grained leather interior with vanity compartments and leather straps with nickel catches. Wonderful deep and rich patina reflecting its history from years of travel
Can be repurposed as a chest on stand in a bedroom or hallway; a coffee or low table or decorative object.
