Each curtain : Width 58 cm,. 23 in., Height 79 cm. 31 in

The crimson silk background of the 17th century embroidered panels has largely worn away to its linen backing. The fine gold and silver purl embroidery is in the form of flowers and foliage. The curtains are satin faced with velvet braid on the sides, gold braid on the top and gold braid and fringe on the bottom. Cleaned and conserved.
