The oval plank top has a central section made from two boards and each leaf is made from three boards. The frieze has two frieze drawers which were probably replaced in the 19th century. Standing on slender, baluster-turned legs with unusual and elegant chamfering at the top and bottom of the turning. The legs are joined by rectangular stretchers with good evidence of wear. The original toes also finished with chamfered detail. Most likely American
