A rare, large mid-18th century hexagonal Irish delftware meat dish

Decorated with a chinoiserie scene of pavillions in a rocky landscape by a river amongst a large willow tree, flowerheads and floral sprays. The rim with an elaborate border of trailing stems with flowerheads and small trellis diaper panels interposed. Decorated in blue on a whitish glaze. Restoration to a small rim chip. Probably Irish, third quarter of the 18th century.
