A pair of 19th century oak stools
10426
The plank tops with solid moulded edges with some losses and marks. The friezes plain. Standing on baluster turned legs joined by square stretchers on ball toes. Unpatinated, grey oak with losses. First half of the 19th century
I have just purchased these stools. They have an unpatinated surface with some marks to the tops. These would be less obvious if the stools were waxed which would in turn bring out the brown in the colour which is currently grey
