The backs with a foliate cresting above a pierced and profusely carved back with shells and scrolls and acanthus leaves. The stuff over seats are upholstered in contemporary needlework. Six are decorated with exotic birds, and two with figures. Standing on hipped legs with hoof feet with a repair to one foot. The needlework has been cleaned and conserved. Bearing old labels underneath.
