The frame with minor, old repairs. The rectangular, back centering a cushioned seat, flanked by shepherd's,crook arms. Re-upholstered in a re-drawn, hand-woven silk damask dyed to match a surviving, green fragment and used in conservation projects at Hampton Court. Standing on sweeping, cabriole front legs at the front and at the back, joined by a turned stretcher. Excellent colour and patina. English, first quarter of the 18th century. 81101238
