A rare William & Mary Walnut Wing Armchair & stool upholstered in a silk damask
The armchair back with arched crest, and flanked by shaped wings and arms centering a bell-shaped loose-cushioned seat. The original frame re-upholstered in Claremont Stanhope silk damask. Standing on gun-barrel back legs and turned front legs with mushroom cappings on original feet, joined by "X" stretchers with central finial. Excellent original colour and patination. Probably English, circa 1690. 3056738.

Standing on turned legs with minor repairs on braganza feet, joined by an "X" stretcher with central finial. Excellent original colour and patination. Probably English circa 1690.
