The back and seat retaining their original leather upholstery and brass studwork. The shaped central stretcher with baluster turnings. Spanish, second quarter of the 17th century.

The turned balusters on the front and back stretcher and the reeding on the uprights are very unusual features. The leather is original and the armchair is very usable.
