The scrolled, broken-pediment of unusual design, centred by pierced acanthus and 'C' scrolls. The original, rectangular plate in an eared frame with foliate mouldings and the sides hung with flowers. Previously, but probably not originally, fitted with candle brackets below. Original gilding. Inscribed in chalk on the reverse 'GLASS/frame chipped'.
