A rare, small, 17th century, carved oak chest
September 18, 2019 2:03 pmThe plank top with a solid moulded edge. The hasp removed, and the interior revealing later iron hinges and a candlebox. The frieze crisply carved with tulip sprays and the initial āPā. Excellent original colour and patina. Second half of the 17th century.
