
A rare, early-18th century, walnut, ‘os-de-mouton’, sidetable
September 18, 2019 1:59 pmThe plank top faced with a moulded edge. The frieze fitted with a single drawer with a brass knob. Standing on scroll legs joined by ‘os-de-mouton’ (sheep’s horn) stretchers with a large central finial, on ball toes. Excellent original colour and patina. French, first quarter of the 18th century.
