
A Dutch, carved, oak, folding tripod table dated 1637, related to a table at Rembrandt’s House Museum
September 18, 2019 3:21 pmThe 1 inch thick, top with a deep, dodecagonal moulding and a ring at the front. The underside of the top with female and male term bearers, a mask and dated 1637. The stretchers with crisp foliate and bird carving. Standing on fluted and turned legs with later toes. Dry surface. Original patina.
