The two plank top with inset cleats at either end. The frieze is, unusually, decorated with channels on all sides and has a drawer at one end and a sliding, bread board at the other. Standing on elegantly turned legs joined by a shaped ‘H’ stretcher. Exceptional original colour and patina. French, second half of the 18th century.
