The rectangular back re-upholstered in a modern, striped velvet by Edmond Petit, and faced with brass studs. The straight arms similarly re-upholstered and supported by straight uprights with extending metal rods. The original iron ratchets enable the back to recline. The seat similarly upholstered and supported by turned legs with a turned central stretcher and ‘H’ stretcher. On original toes. Excellent original colour and patina.
