The frame in original condition. The back with an arched crest, and flanked by ogival wings and conical, out-scrolled arms centering a loose-cushioned seat. Upholstered in the original, crimson, silk velvet with the original fringing and rouche. Standing on cabriole front legs, carved at the knee with shell motifs, on quatrefoil feet. The back legs, with a good rake, on square feet. Excellent original colour and patina. English, first quarter of the 20th century.
