In two parts. The plank top has a moulded edge with a fine, dentil frieze. The front is fitted with four, long drawers of varying sizes, which are divided by ogee mouldings. They are all decorated with cushion and geometric mouldings. The brass, drop handles are replacements which is very common on chests of drawers. The sides are panelled. The chest stands on stile feet. Excellent original colour and patina. Third quarter of the 17th century.
