A small, 18th century oak dresser base with fine and unusual, double-beaded and double-crossbanded drawers
September 18, 2019 2:49 pmThe plank top in two sections with a moulded edge and faced with a deep, ogee moulding. The frieze is fitted with three drawers, unusually, all double beaded and double crossbanded in oak, and fitted with period but not original brass knobs. Standing on elegantly, turned front legs joined by square side stretchers to straight back legs which are spliced. Excellent original mellow colour and patina.
