The fixed overmantle surmounted with a dentil cornice and carved trailing leaf frieze above a panelled section. There are two holes on the top of the cornice indicating that a superstructure has been removed. The plank top is in two sections with a cleated edge. The front has three shallow drawers, all with original wooden knobs and escutcheons and locks. There are a pair of panelled doors below with original, carved, wooden escutcheons and working lock, and hinges. On stile feet. The sides panelled. Exceptional original colour and patina.
