An early-17th century, 4-legged, 8-10-seater, English, refectory table

The three plank top with cleated ends. The frieze plain, the corners with brackets. Standing on tapering, turned legs, joined by rectangular stretchers. One long stretcher is an old replacement. Most likely English. Exceptional original colour and patina.

To underside of frieze 61.50 cm., 24 ¼ in.,
Depth 78 cm., 30 ¾ in.
