Worked in gold and silver metal thread and fresh coloured silks. Worked on one side with a crowned monogram ‘CMC’ and on the other with deer in a hilly landscape amidst trees and flowers and on another with blackberries and on another with a vase of flowers. Fastening with a drawstring and embellished with silver-gilt tassels and silk ribbons. Rose silk lining. Conservation to degraded silk and cleaned. Probably French second quarter of the 17th century.
