A fine, late-17th century, Spanish, walnut table

The rectangular one piece top has an old repair to a knot and worm damage on one edge. The shaped trestle supports are particularly fine, with unusual scroll turnings at the top and bottom, and crisp acanthus leaf and geometric carving on the front edges. Unsually, the iron foils are original with the original fixings. The side stretchers are shaped. Excellent original colour and patina.
