In two parts. The rectangular moulded top is above a dentil moulded frieze. There are two short drawers above three long drawers, all with applied geometric and cushion mouldings and inlaid cedar panels which are striking. The escutcheons are original and the handles replaced. There are repairs and replacements to lost mouldings. The sides are panelled. The chest stands on replaced stile feet.
